We went hiking today for the first time this year. It's pretty much become our family's "thing" -- going out to explore new areas around us, and it almost always involves hiking. It's been a looooong six months since we've been able to go out, but now for us anyway, spring is officially here.
The last snow in a shaded spot of the state park.
Max on his Daddy's back, taking it all in. By the end of the 2.1-mile hike, I pretty much wished I could ride in a Snugli too.
Yay for new Spring buds!
Walking along a beautiful creek. They kept trying to catch fish with the butterfly net. They were completely unsuccessful. And by they, I of course mean Conrad.
Emme totally happy. This is the before shot...before falling into the creek, before losing her treasure case, and before losing her gumption and begging to be carried.
After falling into the creek. It was a shallow one, but wet jeans are wet jeans.
More exciting unfurlage. If that's a word. Unfurling?
Hannah balancing on a log. Yeah, we had to stop at almost every log for her to balance on. There are an awful lot of logs in the woods.
Thank you God for nature and science. A beautiful way to end the day.
if soemthing can be unfurled, no doubt you can take that to several different tenses. you go. nice post and yay nice weather!!!!!!!!!!!!
