This was a flower our old neighbor, self-proclaimed "Crazy Ruthie", gave Hannah. This was before I learned to NOT have the camera date-stamp each picture.
A really cool vine in the Tropical Rainforest at the zoo.
My absolute FAVORITE flower picture ev-ah! I have no idea what it is, but it comes off a weird lily-pad-looking thing. Also at the zoo. If anyone knows what kind of flower this is (or the one above for that matter), please do let me know.
awesome pictures! so artsy! nice job! those purple-lily-pad things are at the butterfly house. maybe when you come all the way to sf to see us (hint) you can all come there with us :)

Beautiful pics! I think the first one is my favorite though. How do you like your new camera? What kind is it? I was going to do some community ed photo classes but now am kinda considering taking a full-fledged photography 101 course at the local college this summer - 2 nights a week for a few hours each but it only ends up being something like 16 sessions, so not too bad.
ReplyDeleteMegan-- We are going to be in SF the weekend of the 17th actually. It's for Conrad's brother's graduation, but possibly we could sneak away for a couple hours...
ReplyDeleteJackie--Those pictures were all from last summer, so they were taken with my Kodak EasyShare (it got stepped on a couple weeks ago :-( ) My new camera is a Canon S5 IS. Supposedly it's really cool, but all I can get is good outdoor pictures so far. Grrrr. Waiting out this learning curve here. You need to go to the classes and then come back and email me everything you learn ;-) Deal?
