I am laughing really hard over here tonight. No wonder I drive myself insane sometimes.
Ah, I just took another one of those timesucking political quizzes. I don't know, I just like to punish myself, I guess. Plus, I'm a nerd, and Her Nerdiness would like to share tonight's results:
You Scored as GreenThe Green Party believes in an America where decisions are made by the people and not by a few giant corporations. Their environmental goal is a sustainable world where nature and human society co-exist in harmony.
Socially Conservative Republican | | 65% |
Pro Business Republican | | 55% |
Notice that my views don't exceed 70% in any of the categories--but what I find so funny is which two categories happen to be tied for #2. And on top of that, #1 is not so very far ahead of either of them. This could also explain why I could simultaneously support two seemingly opposed candidates in this last election. (The pertinent information in the above link is at the end of the farcical campaign blog post.)
As I said, no wonder I drive myself insane sometimes.
Just sign me,
Socially Conservative Old School Green Republican Democrat
Me too! That's why I always consider myself an Indpendant. (Not Indpendence Party, just Independent.) I had a telemarketer call with a survey after the election and one of the questions was, "Do you consider yourself a Republican or a Democrat?" I answered, "Indpendent", so she asked the same question again, and I again said, "Independent." I'm sure they didn't have a box for her to check on her form for that response, poor thing...
ReplyDeleteWow...You are quite the contradiction and conundrum.
ReplyDeleteI tend to hit the Green party, as well.
Where did you find the survey?
Annie--The quiz is here http://quizfarm.com/quizzes/new/badgerblues/whats-your-political-philosophy/#
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it's one of those super-biased ones.
Lara-I also think more people think like us than we realize.
